Dear Friends, Rabbit rabbit! On the first day of the month, we say, "Rabbit rabbit" for luck. Why? I don't know. Susan Branch , Queen of Cottagecore but way back when we called it just being cozy (and maybe a little hokey), told me to do this years ago and who am I to argue with Susan Branch? Last month, I sewed up a few drafts of CoolCrafting's Briar Bunnies , trying to get everything just right. The first bunny had seams that didn't quite line up and the ears were wonky. The second a flat bottom due to insufficient stuffing and visible pattern notches because I cut them too deep. The third was perfect so I made a fourth! And of course I sewed up the coordinating dresses and jackets for the pair. When I pulled the fabric bolts off the shelf at Patched Works , I didn't realize that the Tula Pink Meteor Showers fabric (left, from the Roar line) had a border print featuring dinosaurs whose demise the meteor caused! I was already sold on the pink meteor middle...
